Directly after high school, I joined the United States Army where he successfully completed 22 years of active duty service. After my military career, I graduated college and earned a Bachelors of Applied Science in Network Security and Forensics from an NSA accredited private college. While attending college full time I supported the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) for 4 years at Science Application International Corporation (SAIC). As a SAIC Systems Support Analyst I supported the DHS by troubleshooting systems, user issues, performed quality assurance reviews and was responsible for outage management. This work coupled with my military leadership experience allowed me to quickly adapt to multiple situations and make quick decisions related to the global DHS enterprise.
While working with Datix (USA) as a Program Manager I have been directly responsible for leading an engineering team that provides 24 X 7 support while maintaining a high level of availability. I have also been responsible for assisting the Defense Health Agency (DHA), Solution Delivery Division (SDD), JPSR Program in their mission of migrating from legacy hardware and software to a virtually hosted environment with distributed availability across multiple physical data centers.
At present, I am working on several efforts to modernize and consolidate computing facilities and compute resources using modern containerization technologies and DevOps methodologies.
My wide range of skills is best suited for supporting large and medium organizations engineering resources. My business and interpersonal communications skills are exceptional and I fosters collaboration among traditionally separate teams of experts and enjoy taking on complex projects that require relationship building across multiple organizations and geographical locations.
